Over our ~30 year history, we have provided services for many of the Fortune 100 & 500 as well as for numerous Government agencies. Below you will see a small description of some of our recent projects.
IRS End-To-End Project
Project leaders for the IRS End-to-End project – charged with the design, implementation and adoption of end to end monitoring and management of hundreds of IRS applications including WebSphere, Exchange, AD and many custom apps. Solution built upon entire OpenView suite including BSM, OMW, OML, NNMi, OMi, uCMDB, Service Health Reporter (SHR), SiteScope, Smart Plug Ins (SPIs), uCMDB and Splunk. Responsible for the design of the end state architecture to provide proactive management for over 8,000 servers and several hundred applications. Installed & configured entire OpenView suite, defined monitoring standards and developed numerous custom monitors. Replicated and replaced all monitoring from a mature Tivoli implementation.
Northrop Grumman VITA Project
Team leaders for state wide deployment of HP OpenView framework for newly formed Commonwealth of Virginia IT Agency. Responsible for implementation, customization, optimization, standardization for all monitoring. Implemented entire OpenView suite of tools, including OVOU, OVOW, NNMi, OVPI, OVIS, SiteScope, OVPA, OVPM & others. Developed numerous custom applications and monitors in perl, shell script and VB script. Provided mentoring to other team members as well as other departments. Created custom templates and monitors & developed test case scenarios, acceptance test criteria and SLA/SLOs. Defined methodology for system deployment, monitoring and integration.
HP OpenView MSP Project
Designed and implemented HP OpenView Managed Service Provider solution. Designed global OV solutions utilizing OVOU, OVOW, OVSD, SIP, SNVP, NNM, Dashboard and SPIs for Oracle, AD & PeopleSoft. Built custom portal views in SIP/Dashboard. Designed and implemented a turn key OpenView Managed Service Provider (MSP) system for providing OV outsourcing services. MSP program focused on rapid deployment and heavy use of automation. Utilized OV Interconnect to integrate multiple OpenView data sources into OV SIP/Dashboard (OVO/W, OVO/U, Reporter, OVPI, NNM, OVSN). Created custom portals for multiple MSP clients. Wrote custom OV software to facilitate managing multiple MSP clients from a single unified OV installation.
United States Marine Corps EITSM Project
Team leaders for the design and implementation of a turn key HP OpenView implementation for the USMC eITSM initiative. Responsible for design, development, implementation and customization of HP OpenView OMW, NNMi and BAC/OMi. Integrated with Operations Orchestrations, BAC, OMi, uCMDB, HP Network Automation (NA) and Server Automation (SA). Configured bi-directional integration with Remedy ticketing system via HP Remedy SPI. Configured integration of OMW with Microsoft SCOM. Developed procedures and work instructions for the ongoing use cases for OpenView tool sets.
